Dermalah darah jangan derma dara~!

Haishh...ni Samy Vellu la ni. Yer sila baca betol2 ek. Dermalah DARAH bkan dara ek.

Hari ni ada program derma darah kat fac aku. Huh...masa yang ditunggu2. Bestnya dapat derma darah. For da 2nd time aku pegi. Cam biasa blood test dulu. Tetiba akak tu cakap:

Sorry, kamu tak boleh derma.

Huh?? [muka blur]. Kenapa?

Hemoglobin tak cukup untuk didermakan. Untuk sendiri cukup la.

Hah? Berapa baru boleh derma?

Untuk derma kena ada 12.5 tapi kamu 11.8 ja.

Huh sedeh beb. Semangat gue yang berkobar2 tu pon tak mampu menolong gue. Gue terpaksa balik begitu sahaja. Dengan tangan kosong. Bila nampak kawan2 berbaris2 menunggu turn, jeles jer rasa. Hmm...xde rezeki aku la ek nak derma. Try again next time. Tu jer ayat untuk meredakan kesedehan aku skang.

Kat bawah ni sedikit info yang aku dapat.

An average male should have a hemoglobin level which ranges between 13.5 to 16.5 g/dl, while for females it should be within 12.1 to 15.1 g/dl. For children, a hemoglobin range between 11 to 16 g/dl is normal, while for pregnant women, normal hemoglobin level is between 11 to 12 g/dl. If the level of hemoglobin in the blood is less than normal, then the condition is called anemia. Anemia can be caused by various reasons, the most common being the deficiency of iron.

Hemoglobin deficiency results in anemia and can be caused due to various reasons. The treatment of anemia depends on the cause of the disease. In case of iron deficiency anemia, the treatment includes taking iron supplements and food rich in iron. It is believed that iron in food from animal sources are more beneficial in increasing hemoglobin levels than that from plant sources. Shell fish, chicken, liver, beef, red meat, turkey, fish, pork, etc are good sources of  iron. Eggs, dark vegetables, green leaves, dried fruits, nuts and beans are also rich in iron.

p/s Masih berharap for da next time~
